Update: Completed as part of: https://hubble-app.canny.io/feature-requests/p/freeform-bloc…

Jul 28, 2025

Update: This will now not be included within our "Announcement Banner" block. As we move towards giving merchants the ability to create their own blocks via a drag and drop editor, this will be possible to be created in the visual editor! We will mark this post as complete once we release this feature: https://hubble-app.canny.io/admin/feedback/feature-requests/…

Hi Sébastien COCHARD We can create a new variant of the Announcement Banner with a bit more "control" over the background color and more settings, but I wanted to clarify that the colors are very limited and controlled by Shopify, so no gradients in this case. Another thing we could do is add a link setting to the Image Banner, so that you can add an image that you can design in Figma or similar tools, with all the text that you'd like inside and have it direct customers on click. We can also add another image that will be show only during mobile, so you can have a version for desktop and another for mobile How does that sound ? Which option would you prefer? - A new variant for the announcement banner - Image banner with a link so it can look exactly how you want without Shopify Limitations in style

Hi Miguel Ángel Yes, I was thinking about the image banner. We tested it, and it was indeed missing the possibility of adding a link. It would be a good alternative, just a shame because it will not be translatable into the other languages of the store. But for the moment, it can work yes. Thanks.

Sébastien COCHARD: The translation request is actually very interesting. Note our blocks also don't support that currently even if it's real text elements, we still only allow for 1 language at the moment but since you gave the idea I will add a request for this on your behalf! With language-specific settings you should be able to set an image for english, another for french, and so on and so on!
